You need to install codec for you windows xp video player. Codec is computer program which function is to encode and decode digital data or signal. It is commonly known as compressor-decompressor.

If you don’t have codec installed on your computer you will have problem for playing, editing videos etc. You computer is looking for that codec so you can use you media player, So I suggest you to download codec here.

Just download and then install it to your computer. Codec is very important when you playing videos and mp3 a lot.

Note: For installing codec, just make sure that you download the codec which compatible to your operating system. Like I suggest you I recommend you to download XP codec pack because you are using windows xp.

Hope this helped.

Video files are converted into various formats. And system must have codec according to videos.

You must install Media Player Codec on your system. It support many known video files.
