Requirements and instruction to install Oracle 10g

Hi David, You have to install Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 release which is supported on Windows Server 2008 with the media pack. Follow the below steps to install Oracle Database:

1. Use the 10.2.0.3 media to install Oracle Database

2. Then install the 10.2.0.2.21 Oracle Data Access Components to install the Oracle Database Extensions for .NET Framework 2.0. You can download the software here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/indexes/downloads/index.html

3. Then Install 10.2.0.4 or above patch set.

4. At last run the Database Upgrade Assistant.
