Resident Evil game showing error and crashed

I am not good at using a computer, but I recently started playing Resident Evil. After playing for about an hour a small window appeared that was telling me: “Resident evil 5: RE5DX9ion exit.exe – Fatal application Exit E_FAIL : XLiveIntialize(8xii)” and the game crashed.

Is there someone that knows computers that can explain to me why did this happen?

Hi Moss, regarding your concern, it basically shows that you're computer has found a corrupted or damaged file on your resident evil program.

The best resolution for you is to reinstall the program.

But if the same error appears, you need to download that game from another server.

Hello Moss

The issue that you are facing is basically telling you that Xlive failed to start. That means that one of the files is corrupted or damaged. What you can try, is to locate XLive.dll and rename it to Xlivestart.dll

You can find the file in C:WindowsSystem32. If the game still doesn't work after this, please reinstall Xlive but make sure that in the system32 you have both XLive.dll and Xlivestart.dll

That should make your game work without problems.
