Is there a software or application in Ubuntu that lets you resize your photos and reduce its file size for easy sending as an email attachment?

Hello Allaboutcy,

Yes, there are many software for doing this operation in ubuntu. I would suggest you to use GIMP image editor.

This is very simple to use. You can resize any types of photos with GIMP image editor. Open your photo in GIMP, select the scale image option. Then select the size and ratio of your new image and save this. Your photo is resized now.

Resize and send photos as email attachment with Ubuntu

Hi,

You can use GIMP Image editor for resizing the photos. It is installed by default in ubunto. Go to Application and click Graphic and then GIMP Image Editor. Open the image you want to resize and press image and then scale the image adjust its height and width. After making the changes save as the resize photo.
