What is the direct3d11 error 0x087a0001 failure when I run my Unigine Heaven DX11 Benchmark 3.0? Why does it occur? Most importantly please tell me how to fix it?

Resolve Direct3d11 Error 0x087a0001 Type

There can be several reasons for this problem.

You have to check that if you are using the latest version of this application or not. If not, then install a newer upgrade.

If you are already using the latest one, then the fault refers that you are about to change the resolution different than the system’s resolution. Just check and fix both parameters to same and then try again.

Resolve Direct3d11 Error 0x087a0001 Type

Error “0x087a0001” is a kind of COM error used by COM-based APIs related to user interface, Microsoft DirectX, audio, and or codec. The code is equivalent to “DXGI_STATUS_OCCLUDED” code status which means the current operation was invisible to the user. This error is purely related to the hardware and not with Microsoft DirectX.

If you are running a benchmarking tool to test the stress level of your computer, try updating the driver of your hardware. If you are benchmarking your machine, check the application on which device the error appeared during the benchmarking operation. If the error appeared when the application is testing the video card, try updating your video card’s driver.

If the error appeared when it is testing the sound card, try updating your sound card’s driver. If you have an ASUS video card, go to ASUS Support. If you have an NVIDIA video card, go to NVIDIA Driver Downloads. If you have an ATI video card, go to AMD Download Drivers.
