Resolve Error Code 0x80070037 Failure

Why I am getting error code 0x80070037 when I try to copy data to a pen drive by drag & drop? Please tell me how I can fix this issue.

Resolve Error Code 0x80070037 Failure

There can be several reasons behind this fault. Maybe the files you want to copy is used by another program

You can try the below methods:

1. You can look for the service into the task manager and terminate it.
2. You can also use the toolkit for manual.

Resolve Error Code 0x80070037 Failure

You may receive error code “0x80070037” when you are copying files from your computer or local hard drive to an external drive like a portable hard drive or when you are drag and dropping files to a storage media like a CD-RW disc. If you are copying files to an external hard drive and you triggered this error, check if the cable is connected properly.

Transfer your USB cable to another USB port and try copying again. See if it works. If transferring your cable to another port doesn’t help, try using a different USB cable. It can be the cable that has the problem. You may also try copying the files to a USB flash drive which doesn’t use a cable.

This will verify if the ports on your computer are working or not. On the other hand, if you are copying files to a storage media like a CD-RW disc, one possible cause is a defective disc. Try using a different disc and try again.
