Why do I get the error “is026 brother” while I tried to install the brother drive suite? Please help me out to resolve this issue.

There can be a couple of reasons why you are getting this error message.

I suggest you check below steps:

1. You have to download the suitable software for your versions like 64-Bit and 32-Bit.
2. Disable the antivirus. Restart your Computer and then run the suite with the administrator privileges.

Resolve Is026 Brother Error

If you are installing the software for your Brother printer when the error was caught, try checking the application’s system specifications to verify if it is compatible with your operating system. You can check the manual that comes with the package for the details. Also, when installing the printer, make sure it is connected to your computer using the USB cable.

The printer software has to check for a supported printer and to perform a test print as well. You can also download the complete software package from Brother Support & Downloads. Enter your printer’s model number in the search field and click “Search” to look for your printer.

When you located your printer, select your correct operating system from the list especially the right architecture like if it is 32-bit or 64-bit. By default, the page will automatically detect your operating system and select it from the list. You just need to verify it if it is your operating system that was selected. Click “Search” next.

On the next screen, click “Full Driver & Software Package” to download the complete package of the program for your printer. Just install it on your computer and it should fix the problem.
