Hello experts,

I have this error on Windows Vista every time I want to restore my iPad. I want to restore my iPad because is not working properly and I have a lot of lag and this error 17 makes my work harder. Please can anyone help me to fix this error 17? What it means?

Restoring time my iPad Fixing iTunes Error 17 occur

Hello,

This indicates to iTunes error 42408. This error usually occurs when the restoration process doesn’t complete properly. Here are the ways to fix this issue.

1. Launch Terminal. Terminal is located on Applications >> Utilities >> Terminal (Final).

2. Run the command: “killall iTunesHelper” and hit enter.

3. Now, restore the following files inside “/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/”.
AirTrafficHost.framework

CoreFP.framework

DeviceLink.framework

iTunesAccess.framework

MobileDevice.framework

4. Restart your PC.

Also, uninstall and install iTunes. It is the best to get the latest iTunes. Download iTunes.
