RoboForm stuck, Unable to terminate process.

Hello,

I was installing RoboForm today and was unable to stop the process chrome.exe (X32). Even when I uninstalled Chrome this error appeared. Does anyone have any idea about this error and how can this be fixed please ?

Either the target process, or the target thread’s containing process, is a protect process.

RoboForm stuck, Unable to terminate process.

This problem is caused by Windows 7 security measures, namely the one called UAC. To fix it, the easiest solution is to disable UAC by using the Search menu.

Once you uncheck the box and click OK, you will be able to terminate processes at will. This can be a security risk, but practical benefits which come from turning UAC off far outweigh all potential problems it can cause.
