Why does Facebook recommend, its member not to use Google Chrome when they are visiting a social website?

That's a tricky question to ask, but can be solved.

Google Chrome sometimes doesn't trust the IP address and the certificates that it holds.

That's why also Facebook will mostly not trust the browser and the specifications.

Facebook does not usually possess the 'https' on the address, meaning it's most usually not trusted, therefore the chrome browser will not recommend it.

The 'https icon is very important also in the trusting of the website and the certificate to make it a valid website.

Yes, it’s true. Facebook, the social networking site giant has dropped the well-loved and popular web browser Google Chrome from its list of supported web browsers. The reason for dropping Google Chrome is really not clear.

One user might assume that it’s maybe because of the games available on Facebook that encounters some problems when running or maybe there are times it displays incorrectly for some of the games.

And also it’s maybe because of the fact that Facebook is in the process of acquiring Opera, the creator of the Opera browser. Facebook now indorses Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera as its supported web browsers.
