Run Configuration Failure on my Laptop

Hi all, I just bought a brand new Lenovo laptop. I usually have to work a lot on Microsoft Word so I was trying to open it on this laptop. But my laptop started giving me a problem whenever I tried to open it. It shows the message “Run Configuration Failure”. I uninstalled MS Word and installed it again but the problem was not resolved. And by the way this happens for other programs as well. Please help!

Run Configuration Failure on my Laptop

Hello Eric,

This must be related to a busted/corrupt OS. Usually, this happens after continuing a failed configuration of Windows. To resolve, you need to insert the recovery CD that comes when you bought your laptop. It's straight forward and will allow you to restore your OS . Should this not solve your problem, I recommend that you bring it to the nearest service center as it might be hardware related already.
