Runtime Error while Importing dll for Game booster
Hello Ray,
Here are some ways that you can solve your issue.
1. Go to Start menu >> All programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt. Right-click and select “Run as administrator”. Then, run the following command:
regsvr32 shell32.dll
2. If that doesn’t work, download shell32.dll from here. Then, do the same from Step 1.
If there is no such directory according to this path “C:WindowsSystem32”, then create a file folder according to the direction. Copy and paste the “shell32.dll” into the folder. Then you should be able to run the program.
Also, try downloading the latest version of Game Booster.

That is a runtime error. You are probably installing an application that is not compatible with your operating system. If you are installing Game Booster, check that the version you are installing is perfectly compatible with your machine. You won’t be able to install an application if a runtime error exists. To fix the problem, try downloading other Game Booster applications.
First up, try downloading Razer Cortex. It supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Windows XP and Windows Vista are not supported. Another one you can try is Smart Game Booster. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Since both applications support Microsoft Windows 8, there should be no problem installing it on your Windows 8 computer.
Me, I use Game Booster from IObit. When you install Game Booster and you activate Boost, Game Booster will suspend some of the processes running on the computer that are not important and not required while playing a game. This free up memory and CPU power which results in less laggy gameplay and improved frames per second.
