Hi Linda Nelson
The biggest legal battle of the technology industry is going on between Apple and Samsung in a court in Silicon Valley. In April, Apple filed a charge against Samsung for slavishly copying designs of his devices like iphone, ipad and Samsung then counter sued Apple.
Apple’s lawyers in Sydney blamed that Samsung copied patents related to its touch screen interface.
While In the Hague, Samsung replied the Apple attack, and blamed that Apple copied its patents related to 3G.
So far Samsung has significant edge against Apple.
In court hearing of last Monday both companies agreed for settlement. U.S judge Lucy Koh then referred both companies to a magistrate of San Francisco, who will lead the talk. Hopefully now dispute will be settled down.
Moreover these two companies are engaged in more than 20 cases in 10 countries against each other.
Regards.
