Samsung android icon missing in notification bar

I have a Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 HSDPA 2100 with 830 MHz ARMv6 and Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread). 

I recently noticed that the icons for messages in the notification bar is gone. 

I just synced my phone with my PC then my problem with the notification bar happened. 

Anyone having the same Samsung Android icon missing problem?

Samsung android icon missing in notification bar

Hi!

Try to reboot your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 phone and if it does not work, try to update your phone’s software to restore the notification bar.

Make sure to use Samsung Kies every time you sync files to your phone using your personal computer.

Using Kies will keep your computer and phone safe since it is the official tool of Samsung to sync and manage files.

Samsung Kies can be downloaded from This Site.
