Galaxy note is a smartphone that serves as a tablet also as described by Samsung. This Smart phone is too big to call a smart phone and too small to consider as a tablet. Samsung is saying that Galaxy Note is a gadget that will fill up the gap between a Smartphone and a tablet. Though this product contains both the features of a tablet and a smart phone but it is slightly over-sized to call it a smart phone. Still some business users will find this Galaxy Note as a useful tool as they need something that will fit on their works space and they can get the maximum output of it while in a rush.

Smartphones before or the early generations of Smartphones are just the same size as the usual phone. But later on as the competition continues, Smartphone manufacturers released a Smartphone that is quite bigger than the usual Smartphone which can be used as a phone and as a tablet.
