I've tried to connect my Samsung Galaxy S2 using USB cable to my PC.
Suddenly a yellow triangle appears and said the device are not recognized. I've tried to unplug it and replug but it didn't solve the problem.
Does anyone give me an idea how to fix this?
Thank you…
Samsung Galaxy S2 not recognized on PC using USB cable
Hi Sheri,
There might be few issues because of which your USB cable is not connecting to your PC.
1. Kindly check if your drivers are properly installed. If your drivers are not properly installed, don't worry you can install them from this link. Install your drivers and then check again, your issue will be resolved.
2. If your drivers are perfectly installed and still you cant connect via cable to your PC, then there might be an issue with your cable. Try shooting your cable with some compressed air and then try again. Your Issue will be resolved.
3. It might be possible that your cable is completely damaged.
Change your cable and then try again.

That error on the system tray that shows a yellow triangle is normal if you plug your Samsung Smartphone on your computer for the first time without installing the phone’s PC software. That error means the computer cannot identify the device you connected. For the system to identify and recognize your device, you must install its driver first.
And with Samsung devices, the only software you need to install so the computer can successfully recognize your device is Samsung Kies. Download the latest Samsung Kies for your device. Before, there is only Samsung Kies. But now, a new software is available called “Smart Switch” aside from the traditional Samsung Kies software.
If your Samsung Smartphone or tablet is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, download the new Smart Switch. But if it is running on Android 4.2 or earlier, download Samsung Kies. For Mac users, you can download Smart Switch for Mac. Samsung Kies supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
It requires 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 500 MB free space, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1.
