Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone is coming to India on 31 may 2012 with expected price between 34,000/- Rs to 38,000/-

It will run on Android 4.0 (ice cream sandwich) and have a super Amoled (1280 x 720 ) display.

Samsung launch this phone with a tagline "Designed for humans". Some interesting features are :

  • SMART STAY: Detects users movements using front camera and keeps the screen from going off.
  • S BEAM: Simply touch your phone to another phone and share large HD videos quickly.
  • POP UP PLAY: Allows users to watch an HD video on the phone while sending an e-mail or text simultaneously.
  • S VOICE: Samsung's answer to its rival IPhone's app "siri". This feature allows you to control your phone through voice, eg : turn up the volume and ask it questions.
  • BURST SHOT & PHOTO: The phone's 8 MP camera features a zero lag shutter speed that lets user capture moving objects without delay.  The Burst Shot function allows users to capture twenty continuous shots. HD video can be recorded even with 1.9 MP front facing camera. Best part is that photos can even be shot when a video is being filmed.

Samsung give a free Bluetooth headset along with this smartphone. The other main features are:
