This new tablet can be converted to a laptop by using the attached keyboard dock which will convert it to a laptop.

And it will be connected magnetically as opposed to the usual dock connector.

Won't there be any interference in its usual functionalities?

Magnets are expected to do just that.

SAMSUNG Series 5 Hybrid shown off

Samsung has announced its Hybrid series 5 PC that runs Windows 8. Officials call it Samsung’s version of Transformer Tablet with a keyboard dock. The Tablet has an 11 inch touch screen display, with a small but neat slot at the bottom for attaching it to the dock (keyboard) magnetically.

Hybrid series 5 is designed in such a way that its attachment of keyboard feature magnetically does not affect its usual performance, rather you can work on it either as a PC or Tablet very easily without any interference. The detailed specifications of this device have not been declared yet. Few features are:

1. Battery time: 10 hours

2. Dual Camera: 8MP and 2 MP
