San Andreas Multiplayer Setup Abort

I enjoyed Rockstar games specifically the Grand Theft Auto. I have bought this new game which is the San Andreas series of the game. While installing there happens to be an error message that was outputted.

I took the liberty of posting it together with this. If I press abort it will be terminated and all that I have waited for will be lost and I am afraid to click ignore due to the fact that the game may lag or may have an error while playing.

What do I need to do in order to finish installing without any errors?

San Andreas Multiplayer Setup Abort

Hello Michael,

The setup which you have i.e. SA-MP (or San Andreas Multi Player) is a mod for GTA San Andreas. This mod allows the game to be played with multiple players at the same time, but this mod does not support Steam which leads to the error you are facing.

But not to worry, there is a solution to this problem. Download the text file attached to this comment and follow the instructions mentioned in it carefully, and your game will install and run fluently.
