Check your SDHC card for any errors using command prompt.  In the command prompt, type “chkdsk X: /r” without the double quotation marks. X is the drive letter for your card. This will get rid of any errors your card has. If this does not solve your problem then you should low level format your card.

Hi,

There are some cards that will save data from games on the Wii's internal memory. Channels can be changed on an SD card, you just need free space available on the Wii to launch the SD card. When you start the channel, it will provisionally move the game to the Wii's interior, so if you want save the date, just change the settings and follow my instructions. Insert a compatible SD Card into the SD Card slot, access the Wii Data Management screen, Select ""Save Data,"" then select ""Wii."", Select the ""SD Card"" tab, and select ""Yes"" to save the file.

Thanks.

The term SDHC in an SDHC memory card is the short term for Secure Digital High Capacity. It is a type of SD card that supports capacities up to 32 GB. This SD format was unveiled on January 2006 and described in version 2.0 of the SD specification. If you want to use your SDHC card to store short English textbook files, make sure the card is already formatted.

I know an SDHC card is preformatted with the FAT32 file system and ready to use when it is purchased. In your case, if it doesn’t store anything or it throws an error when you want to copy something to the card, try formatting the memory card again but make sure you use FAT32 instead of NTFS because it is the default file system for the SDHC card.

To format the card, insert it to the SD card slot on your laptop then double-click My Computer. Right-click on your SD card then select Format. In the Format window under “File system”, select FAT32 then click Start. Once the format is complete, try copying some files to the SD card and see if it works.

If, in case, it can’t be formatted maybe because it is damaged or corrupted, try using SD Formatter to fix the SD card. Go to Fix Dead SD/SDHC/SDXC/SD-3C Cards to download. If you are using Windows, download the Windows version. If you’re on OS X, download the Mac version.
