I want to convert my logo and save it as text file so I can upload in the site Dreamweaver. I used the Script layer but when saving the text logo, the default background does exist too. I want to remove it and save the text logo alone, without any background. How can I possibly do that?
Save text logo without white background
The text logo will certainly will not convert the transparent background in the same state. It would rather give you a white background instead. I suggest that you upload it by changing it to a GIF format. Open you text logo file copy it to a open PhotoShop or any picture editing software you have. Choose a tool that say magic eraser to delete the white background. It should look like checkers at the back instead of white. Save it as a GIF or PNG image file then upload it on your dreamweaver.
This is the most efficient way to use a logo and your should do this to other image too that you need to upload in your website.

Save text logo without white background
Hello Erika,
You first have to edit the logo image so that to remove the background using an image editing software called adobe fireworks CS5, or any other fireworks version that you may get. Just copy the logo and paste it in a blank fireworks document, and when there edit to make the background of the image transparent. Remove the layers that have the background which you can view in the palettes menu in fireworks.
When you are done editing including resizing the image accordingly, modifying the fonts and so forth, you can now paste the logo in your Dreamweaver, and modify it to fit well in Dreamweaver.
