Hello Everyone,
I had to format one of my machines completely due to some security reasons. I had taken a full back up of my account details as .grv file on USB hard drive.
Now when the machine is formatted and has Windows XP installed already, I am trying to restore the backed up files. When I try to restore my groove back up it says my account credentials are old.
It hardly took a few hours to clean the machine and install it back again.
Please help.

Error on restoring backup files after reformatting OS
Hi,
Please follow the procedure given below BUT first disconnect from the network and internet.
1-Â Â Â Â Â Change the date of your PC to a date within 60 days of the backup you made on your groove account
2-Â Â Â Â Â Inject your account-But do not retrieve any data
3-Â Â Â Â Â Change the date of your Pc to the current date
4-Â Â Â Â Â Now connect to the network / internet and retrieve your backed up data
Hope, your issue will be resolved. It is very much possible that you may be required to Re-Invited in workspaces you received after The Groove account backup date
Error on restoring backup files after reformatting OS
This seems to be the problem of data validity duration. In order to resolve this issue you must consider modifying the date and time of your system. You can check the subscription status of your groove account by visiting this official Microsoft link https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us?auth=1.
On the other hand, you can disconnect you computer from the network and change its date manually to the one closer to the date at which the backup was take.
