Saving folders to be transferred to the OS

Is the steps of saving folders to be transferred to the operating system, for example in "My Documents", just as in Microsoft Outlook Express, Tools> Options> Maintenance> Store Folder> Store Location?

Saving folders to be transferred to the OS

 

Question you are posing is not quite clear but I'll try to help in my best possible way. As far as I understand you want to save folders and want to shift to a new operating system. Well yes by the way you mentioned you can save your outlook data file. Whereas if you are transferring or upgrading to a newer version of windows you can use the upgrade options when installing. This will keep you existing settings and applications. However it will do tell you the application which will be not compatible with your new operating system. Hope that helps you.
