Screen Casting Option shown in Moto G-2 but unable to Cast?

I have Moto G Second Gen. I have a Sony Bravia LED. I want to cast my Mobile's Screen on the LED. It shows the Screen Cast Option but when I try to Cast Screen it shuts the WiFi off and returns back to Home Screen. What to do now? How to resolve?

Screen Casting Option shown in Moto G-2 but unable to Cast?

Hello,

 

Moto G does not support that specific type of screen cast out-of-box, and you would need to root your phone to do it. Rooting your phone would not get desirable results.

 

Your best option is Google Chromecast. It is a plug-and-play device. You insert the device and you can then use a wide range of devices to stream content to your television.
