Search bar not working in Mozilla firefox

Hi all, I have got an issue in the search bar present next to the address bar in Mozilla Firefox. I have always appreciated the search bar and was using it all the time. Recently i faced an issue that whatever I type in the search bar and hit enter, the Google results will not open. Instead an empty Google page will open. Why will this happen? How to rectify this? I do not want to switch to any other search engines other than Google. Is this because of a corrupted search engine? How to resolve this issue? Thanks

Search bar not working in Mozilla firefox

The steps to reset the search engine in the Mozilla browser are:

1. Open a new tab on the browser.

2. Click on the “open menu” button.

3. Go to the “options”.

4. There is an option named as “search”.

5. In the search option, there is an option to select default search engine. If you want Google search bar, then select Google.

6. Below that you can delete the unwanted search engines.

7. Automatically the search engine will change.
