I’m connected to the internet and yet I’m having an error message while installing Avira anti-virus.

I’m going to try and resolve the following issues. If all else fails, what should I do?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Error

A secure internet connection is required to activate the product (SSL

encrypted). This could not be established. Please address the following

issues and repeat the product activation.

-Ensure that the Internet is generally accessible

-Ensure that the system date is correct

-Check your modem connection if you are using one

-Ensure that the application fact.exe has access to the Internet and will

not be blocked by a firewall

A secure internet connection is required to activate the product (SSL encrypted)

There are several reasons for the installation this error occurs and terminates any further installation.

First of all try installing the Avira Anti Virus program in “Safe Mode”

During installation do not check the box asking about subscription and news letter.

Reboot your system after completion of installation.

Turn any windows Firewall off before rebooting the system!

If above method doesn’t work then uncheck the box during installation saying about registering Avira!

It will start the installation but may have bad effects on your system!
