Security error occurred with GoToMeeting

Hello tech experts,

When I try to uninstall the GoToMeeting from my computer, it failed. I don’t need this anymore but I am not able to uninstall. So I tried to reinstall GoToMeeting even that was not working properly. I am getting this below error message, How to fix this error? This error makes me more frustrated, please help me.

GoToMeeting cannot be started due to a security certificate msimatch.

Please go to the GoToMeeting Website and reinstall GoToMeeting to correct this issue.

Security error occurred with GoToMeeting

Hello,

The first thing you should try is to delete several files in a certain folder.

Go to “C:Program Files(x86)CitrixGoToMeeting”. Now, make a backup of the files inside the folder and then delete them. Now launch GoToMeeting and see if your problem still goes on.

Also, install the latest program from this page. After you’ve downloaded, install it.

Also, check date and time. If the date and time is not correct, this will also generate such error.
