Previously the only option to send multimedia files such as photo and videos is by sending it through email but now iPhone is capable of receiving MMS message and it is very simple to add images and video to your message.
First, Open the message app by tapping the message icon on the upper left corner of the screen and create a new message.
Touch the small camera icon on the screenshot below. This will allow you to choose multimedia content from your device or take a new photo/video. touch the Take photo or Video button if you want to take new photo/video. If you want to choose existing video/photo from your device just simply touch the Choose existing button then tap send and you're done.
Congratulations! you can now send MMS via iPhone 4.
You can now easily send an MMS via the iMessage feature of iOS 5. If you're not yet on iOS 5, I suggest you better have a software update 😉 You can exchange photos and videos via MMS over 3G or Wifi with anyone using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.
Before you try to send an MMS via iMessage, make sure to check these:
1. iMessage is "ON" (Go to  Settings > Messages > iMessage). You may need to configure iMessage if you haven't done so.
2. MMS Messaging is "ON". (Go to Settings > Messages > Scroll down to see MMS Messaging)
So, now that you're ready to send one. Here's how:
1. Go to Messages and create a new message, just like how you create a regular text on your iPhone.
2. Click the camera icon to browse for a photo.
3. Tap on "Choose Existing" to select from your photo gallery.
4. Tap "Choose" to select the photo.
5. The picture will appear on the text bar. You can add a text if you like. 🙂
    Tap "Send".
Enjoy! 🙂
