From few days, I am facing a lot of problems due to serious virus attack in my desktop. My desktop is making me crazy. It just keeps restarting over and over again. For this reason, I am unable to run any program or application.

Its just the waste of time.

Please tell me some good, free antivirus name which I can download free.I tried (Avira and others. But doesn't work) so, it has to be a strong one.

Hello,

Avira , AVG and Avast these three are the top best free antivirus software's but they are personal versions and thus won't provide protection against Malware also they lack internet security and firewall.

But for your problem i will recommend you some of the following antivirus software's:

1) Eset NOD32

2) Kaspersky

3) Bitdefender

4) Norton

5) Panda or else Gdata security.

All these listed softwares are not free but you can still get the trial version and try them once. I will advise you to buy any one of these. If you want more information over best of them go through test reports from:

Hi Arnab,

You are saying you have tried Avira and others. I wish you could have stated which ones. But the best antivirus that I know and I use is AVG. It is free. You can get it readily from http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/avg_antivirus_free_edition.html

It is strong, gives best protection against viruses and malware and it will serve you good. Some of its best features include the link scanner that scans all the pages that you access using your PC so that any malware that may be got as a result of browsing is guarded against.

It also has the identity protection that will avoid execution of software on your system without your permission.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lee Hung.
