The service is temporarily unavailable AOL emails

When logging in to my AOL account, I keep getting an error stating "The service is temporarily unavailable. Please try your request again." There is a key shown at the left of the address bar with a pad lock icon on the right side. How can I unlock my account?

Hi,

If you're seeing a lock icon beside your address bar, it's an indication that you're trying to access a secured website (HTTPS) and it has nothing to do with why you can't log in to your AOL account. Now if you're getting an error message that your account is non-existent in AOL, it's either their server is down or your account has been temporarily disabled.
