Set Restrictions Password Not Working

I have a iPhone5 that I set the restrictions on because my kids use the phone also. I went to change the restrictions and could not get it to take the password I had set. How can I get into this part of the phone? Do I have to reset the phone to the original settings?

Set Restrictions Password Not Working

Hi Jose,

 

Restriction are similar to parental controls and can be turned on to prevent access to all users.

 

1 Go to Settings and then, General. 

2 Tap on Restrictions and then, Enable Restrictions.

You will have to enter the passcode to modify your settings either turning it on or off.

 

If this passcode is not accessible to you, then a factory restore has to be done to remove it.
