The Setup Analysis Tool observers the actions taken by application installers and can detect the following compatibility problems:

1. Installation of kernel mode drivers
2. Installation of 16-bit components
3. Installation of Graphical Identification and Authentication dynamic-link libraries (DLLs)
4. Adjustment of files or registry keys that are protected by Windows Resource Protection

To complete an analysis, open the Setup Analysis Tool and type in the location of the setup file that you want to analyze.
