Setup of Avira internet security

Hello Friends,

When I try to install Avira antivirus along with the Avira internet security it gives me this error message.

Can anyone tell why it happens?

I will thankful for all help and support.

This product requires version 6 of Microsoft Internet Explorer or higher.

Hi,

It's not a big deal. It's just a simple and easy thing to understand it. The error which is shown about internet explorer and the Avira antivirus. The product which you have installed won't run because you are using an older version of internet explorer. The minimum requirement of internet explorer is 6 and you have the older one. So first update your internet explorer to the latest version and then try to run the Avira internet security.

Hello Mr. Gyle Kulger,

It seems that you internet explorer is out order or you are using an old version of internet explorer.

When you install the Avira antivirus, its some functions can be enabled by opening the internet explorer.

These functions are detecting that your internet explorer is older and the software supports the version 6 or higher.

So please update your internet explorer first.

Then try again to reinstall your Avira antivirus.

Hi guys! Thanks for all your useful information, it was very helpful to me. I was really worried about my problem, and Claraj jane's solution was very reassuring for me. Reading your comment really helped me to realize why this problem is going on. I read your solution and followed your suggestions: I have updated my Internet Explorer to the latest version. Now when I run Avira internet security, I no longer receive any error messages. I was so surprised! Thanks once more, Claraj jane for your vital information.
