Setup cannot be completed while installing the features

Hello,

When installing SCOM setup fails during the data warehouse step and the setup log file contains an error while attempting to open or create the physical file ‘E:SystemCenterData.mdf’. Any solution for this error ?

Setup cannot be completed while installing the features

Hello,

 

The installer is wrongly configured to install a database using the same name as the parent folder of the installation. You can remedy this issue by rerouting the location of the database location. Give a unique name to your database. Then specify different folders for your data and log files:

 

Database name:

DBNAME

 

Data file folder:

E:DATADB NAME

 

Log file folder:

E:LOGDB NAME
