Hi,

I get the following when trying to install avg:

Error:

Setup error Sevetity:Error Error code:0xC0070643 Error message:General internal error.Additional message:Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.9.0.Microsoft.vc90.crt.version='9.0.30729.4148',publickeyToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b',processore Architecture='x85,type='win32-policy".please refer to help and Support for more information.HRESULT:0x8007371bB.Context:Redistributable installation.Sevetity:Error Error code:0xC0070643 Error message:General internal error.Additional message:Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.9.0.Microsoft.vc90.crt.version='9.0.30729.4148',publickeyToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b',processore Architecture='x85,type='win32-policy".[…]

Setup error 0xc0070643 here, please help

 

AVG Antivirus uses Windows Installer and Microsoft .NET Framework to install or delete necessary files. You will get a 0xc0070643 error code if you are trying to install AVG on a computer that uses Windows Installer and .NET framework and has corrupted system files. You need to fix the corrupted system file in Windows and .NET Framework order to receive again AVG error 0xc0070643.

When you are done fixing Windows Installer, fix next the Microsoft .NET Framework. Do not install AVG until you are done fixing both Windows Installer and .NET framework.
