Setup Error - McAfee Software

Hi all

Simply a Setup Error describes a trouble where an application set up file is not loaded.

When I try to uninstall McAfee antivirus in an unacceptable way, the new edition of McAfee antivirus applications that depend on them are crashing.

I need to solve it. Please give a solution.

Hello Ruth,

Do you have the McAfee installer on a CD or on a location on your computer?

The error could be occurring because of the following reasons:

If you have got the setup application on a CD then the error could be occurring because the CD is corrupt, or it has got dust and therefore the data on it cannot be read during installation. You will need to take a clean soft piece of cloth and wipe the CD, and after that try reinstalling the McAfee antivirus and see if it will work.
If you have got on a location on your computer and the setup is bringing the above issue when you execute, then the setup is corrupt. You will need to get another setup application and use it for installation.
