Shared memory for Performance System counter ?

Does a performance System counter use a shared memory? If yes, Is it possible to indicate a size for each one? How can I do this? Thanks

Performance counters are mock-up using the PerfCounterInfo data object kind.

All case of a PerfCounterInfo data object holds metadata about a precise metric obtainable from the system.

The memory groups (mem) of performance counters accepted on this page are obtainable from the PerformanceManager service interface.

VMkernel’s memory-management method need VMware Tools be installed on the virtual machine.
