Hello,
I own a Mac book 10.5.8 and I want to start making use of the SharePoint application which, to my comprehension, was once called Groove. I would like to know what I can do to possibly change the settings on my Mac book so as to enable it to function with SharePoint.
I do not have a sound knowledge about computers nor their operations and therefore I request that you use terms that will be easy for me to understand when you reply and please elaborate on this matter further..

SharePoint application using Mac Book
Hello Alission,
I'm not familiar with either of this applications being mac based apps. I do know them to be applications associated with Microsoft. So I don't think you can do any configuration on your mac to make either of them work. However, there is an option to consider, and it is really not to hard to implement.
If you are wanting to run SharePoint, you could use a tool called Virtual Box and what this tool will allow you to do is run a virtual machine while within the Mac OS and environment. Then you can install a Microsoft OS like Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server to run the SharePoint Application.
You do have to have the media and appropriate licensing for these products. So I hope this will help you and if I have missed something about these application, please provide more detail, and I can research it further. Mac's are amazing machines and you will certainly enjoy the use of your mac!
Thanks
