I would like some help on how to “wake up” my laptop from the “sleep mode.” I would like the desktop to be shown instead of the welcome screen when I open the laptop lid or by clicking the left mouse button. Is this possible?

Show my desktop when waking up my computer
Hi,
Wake up your laptop by clicking any keyboard button or touching by mouse. By default it is not appear welcome screen on wakeup computer from sleep mode.
To enable welcome screen on wakeup computer do this:-
1 Right click on desktop blank area
2 A option window will be appearing. Choose personalize from it.
3 Personalize option windows will be appearing.
4 Click on screen saver
5 Screen saver settings will be open. Right check mark on “on resume, display logon screen”
6 Click on ok.
Restart laptop. That’s done. Next time when you open lid or click on any mouse button, with resuming, welcome will be appear.

Hi there I think it’s your screen saver setting was a problem try to follow the steps below. so you can
manage to fixed it .
1. Ok for the step one right click on your desktop select proper ties then select power settings.
2. For step two just click screen saver settings.
3. Just turn off any settings that turn your monitor off for the screen saver show or on resume, display logon screen .
4. For this time right check mark on the box and click ok
5. Then save it If necessary, then restart your laptop or notebook.
