Sibelius 7 cannot initialize the license server

Hello,

Sibelius 7 have this error when I want to activate the license. I have bought the program with a license and it seems like I cannot activate it. Can anyone help me to fix this ? What could be the problem that doesn’t let me to activate the program ?

There was an error initializing the licensing engine. This often happens if you have migrated data from another computer. Please delete the following folder, then restart Sibelius 7: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Licenses/Sibelius.

Sibelius 7 cannot initialize the license server

This error is caused by having temporary files on your Mac which do not match what Sibelius expects to find and thus it refuses to run. To fix this problem, follow these steps:

1. Open your "Macintosh HD".

2. Open "Library".

3. Go to "Application Support".

4. Go to "Avid".

5. Go to "Licenses".

6. In here, find the folder named "Sibelius" and delete it

7. Run Sibelius again.

It will now work correctly.
