SideWinder Game Voice cannot run properly

Hi,

For 2 days when I want to start SideWinder Game I have this error message and it says something about an internal error. I don’t have any experience with this kind of errors and I don’t know how to fix it. Does anyone have any idea what is this all about ? How can I fix this ?

SideWinder Game Voice

SideWinder Game Voice can’t start because the Sound Hardware Test Wizard did not complete successfully. SideWinder Game Voice cannot run until this problem is resolved. The next time SideWinder Game Voice is run, the wizard will be launched.

SideWinder Game Voice cannot run properly

I think you are missing a hardware that is supposedly connected when you play Microsoft SideWinder Voice. If you already have the headset and you still receive the error, try downloading the voice plug-in from TeamSpeak 3 SideWinder Game Voice Plug-in. But remember before you download the file, this version doesn’t work on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 and is a 64-bit installer.

The device supposedly works on Microsoft Windows 98 and higher so if you are using a newer operating system, it should work though it doesn’t guarantee that it’ll still work even on the latest operating systems. It is actually a voice chat device developed by Microsoft that allows players to chat while playing the game. But in 2003, Microsoft discontinued the product.
