I have a 1-year old computer that came with a pre-installed Silverlight. When I tried to view a video on a Microsoft site, it told me to download Silverlight, so I did. It was saved on my Downloads folder, and when I clicked on it, it asked me to download the program. But I had done that already when I watched the video. How can I remove the program from my Downloads folder and save it where the installed programs are?
Silverlight.keeps asking to install and download
Hi.
You can try to right click the installer file then choose Cut on the options that will come out. You can then move or paste it to the folder where your installers are.
Another option that you can use is to re-download the file but make sure to choose where you want to save the file. If you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser, you can change the download path by going to Tools then Option on the Menu. Look for Downloads then option that say save files to. You can choose now as to where you want to save it. You can change it for just the specific download then change back again once you are done.
