I am getting frustrated with the Siri on my iPhone 5. It can recognize what I say but it is not responding or sometimes it won't work at all. I restarted my phone and reset it but it is still the same. How can I fix it?
Siri not responding on iPhone 5
Hello Chris,
Try the following resolutions:
Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings.
If you still get the issue, try changing your DNS in your Wi-Fi settings to something like208.67.220.220 or 208.67.222.222, or change to Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4). In case you change it back to your ISP's DNS or the default DNS, it will again stop working.

Siri not responding on iPhone 5
Hi Chris,
The possible reason why Siri cannot respond is because the application is corrupted. To solve this problem, you can do the following steps:
1. Disable Siri, Shut down your phone by pressing the power button while holding the home button at the same time. This will hard reboot your phone. Once you see the apple logo in the screen, you may release and wait for it to start up again. Then enable Siri and try again. If this doesn't work, you can do step 2.
2. Download latest version from the app store. Reinstall. Shut down your phone, start it up again and enable it back. It should fix it. When doing this step, make sure you that you have a fast internet connection to avoid any interruptions during process.Â
Hope this helps.
