Hi, I wonder how I can fix this error with Site Works. The error message goes like this:
“Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/highlandcruise.co.uk/httpdocs/nuke/includes/my_header.php on line 15.”
It is saying something about the file directory. I am totally handicapped regarding this issue.
Please enlighten me.
I have no idea on what to do.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Site Works Error: File in wrong directory
I think there is something wrong with the content of the file my_header.php. It is possible that there is a typo in one of the links inserted in the page.
If a link contains a typo, it will point or direct the user to nowhere and will result in a 404 error or “Page not found” error. It’s as if the page never really existed even if the page is really located on that URL.
You may need to open my_header.php manually and check what is written in line 15 of the page. Check carefuly for any typographical errors it might have.
If you already checked the file and there seems to be no problem, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application.
You may also want to upgrade the software to the latest version, SiteWorks 3.0.
