Is Skype affecting my Wamp Server application?

I was facing the same problem, and I found out some programs like skype, IIS, zonealarm, firewall/antivirus, nod32, ESET conflict with wampserver. You should first check all your log files. You can access you log files by checking a folder called logs inside your WWW Folder. And if the problem still persist then make sure no other program conflict with wamp. Infact IIS and Apache/Wamp are both web server and might conflict in some way, so you have to disable IIS in order for Wamp to work 

If using skype, open skype -> tools -> options -> advanced -> connection and uncheck "use port 80 then restart wamp then skype
 

How to Disable IIS (Internet Information Service) in Vista 7: 

Go to Control Panel -> Uninstall Programs -> Turn Windows Features On or Off -> uncheck Internet Information Services 

How to Disable IIS in XP: 

Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components -> uncheck Internet Information Services

Restart your system, and then restart Wamp 

 It will definitely fix your issue.
