Skype portable apps shows error

Hi,

I just downloaded Skype Portable using Win 7 64 bits Operating System and when I attempted to install the program the pop up error message appeared. You can see the attached error image. I followed the recommendations given in attached image and reinstalled the program to fix this error but I could not get any resolution. Please help me to fix it ASAP. I would be thankful to you.

Skype portable apps shows error

Hallo Steven,

You are getting that error most probably because the copy of Skype you are using was likely deleted after you installed. Or during the install process, it  was prevented from running. Another cause of the problem could be bad antivirus apps. You will need to make sure you download Skype and make sure that you are not blocked.

Also check in the folder SkypePortableAppSkype and see if there is any any executable Skype.exe.If it is not there, the reason of the issue could be the incorrect content of the file installer.ini.
