Smart phones from AMD ?

AMD is entering into smart phone manufacturing. When exactly we can expect this will come into market? Will they enter into smart phone manufacturing or not?

Smart phones from AMD ?

AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) has not decided to go for smart phones as of now. This statement was given by one of AMD employee Rick Bergman. AMD is a company which develops processors and it is thinking to go for manufacturing other devices like laptops, tablets, servers where they have scope of moving forward. As already there is lot of smart phones released into the market, It may not be possible for AMD to release their own Smartphone. At present they are providing processor support for most of the smart phones which is the added advantage for them. Hope, they will come to Smartphone manufacturing also.
