Smartphone charging slowly using normal charger

Hi there,

I have Sony Xperia Z1 which I realized the other day that , the normal charger for the Phone  is taking so much time to charge compared to USB 3.0 port on my laptop, I have borrowed my friend's charger for a similar model and still the same is happening, What could be a problem with my phone an how do I solve it?

Smartphone charging slowly using normal charger

Hi !

You have to reset your phone to the factory settings and charge your phone while it's closed. Technically is hard to change the time it takes to charge. You have to use the original charger that came with the phone. If you want to change it you have to look how many mA the battery have, so standard USB 2.0 port will provide 500 mA while USB 3.0 will provide 900 mA.
