Snarfer runtime Error has occurred

This error message will occur when the NetWare clients (workstations) are not set up properly. There is a set of NetWare files that are used from the DOS environment to allow proper connection to a NetWare network, but what is frequently not understood is that there is also an additional set of files used by MS Windows and MS Windows for Workgroups to allows certain NetWare applications to make a full connection to the NetWare network via the Novell protocol SPX. These files are the ones that are often not installed, or are not set up correctly. 

The "Call To Undefined Dynalink" error is due to lack of a specific function call that the PowerChute installation is looking to run by referencing one or more of the workstation's NetWare-related .DLL files. In this case, the NetWare .DLL files are available, but the specific function required is not in any of the existing .DLL files.

DLLs, or Dynamic Link Libraries, are libraries of functions (dynalinks) typically used by Windows interfaces. These functions allow a program to get information about the operating system. Some examples include functions for time, date, server_name, etc. There are NetWare .DLLs which contain NetWare function calls. The files associated with such function calls are stored in the C:WINDOWS and the C:WINDOWSSYSTEM directories at the NetWare workstation.
