Software for accessing my computer remotely using Netgear WNDR3700

Hi all ,

I have a Netgear WNDR3700 with an IP address configured as Static. I want to know if there software that I can use to access my computers in the house just in case I want to get a file and also just in case I need to help my family to fix some issues in the computer?

I already tried it from the house to the office but I can’t get it to work the other way around.

Hi Iansilva,

Yes, there is a software that will help you access and fix some computer related problem.  It is called Data Recovery kit which recovers your important data, emails and files from your storage device.  After Installing the software and you'd like to recover your file and data, you must have had to open the folder to enable for you to view them. 

What to do:

• Look for the Start Menu
• Select My Computer
• Select TOOLS > folder Options
• Select VIEW 
• Look for the list and choose Hidden  folders and files then select >SHOW hidden folders and files.
• Then click APPLY and then OK.

Installed the software, followed your instructions.

Works excellent and now i don't have to worry losing my data.
